Established in 1889, Printing and Mailing Services supports the educational objectives of the University of Oregon through information dissemination in teaching, research, and public service. By incorporating leading-edge digital technology, its goal is the enhancement of the academic stature of its constituents through high-quality publications.
University of Oregon Printing and Mailing Services received two awards for excellence in the 2007 National In-Plant competition sponsored by Inplant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) and In-Plant Graphics magazine. We were selected from among more than 600 entries from printing plants across the nation, such as Boeing, Allstate, and Wal-Mart, as well as many universities and government offices. This is the third year our department has submitted printing projects created by university designers in the annual competition for the top awards in the printing industry.
