Our Copyright Clearance specialists, Kati Kronholm and Toni Burnette also have their offices in the Baker Downtown Center.
The Copyright Clearance Office helps the University community to comply with copyright law, especially concerning class packets. They can assist in explaining the University's interpretation of the copyright laws and guidelines for fair use, obtain copyright clearances for you, or help you to do obtain the clearance yourself. Kati Kronholm has been the customer service representative for the Copyright Clearance Office since its inception in 1991. Kati is assisted by Toni Burnette. They can answer questions concerning compliance on an individual basis as well as in staff and faculty meetings. If you are an instructor and would like the Copyright Clearance Office to clear your packet, simply provide them with a bibliographic table of contents. This service is available for all packets being sold at the University Bookstore or printed through University Printing Services. Planning ahead is vital.
